A BASIC MOVING TIP FOR YOU:  Being prepared is the best way to keep your cost down (i.e. when we walk in to move you, we would like to see furniture and boxes. We know this is not always possible, but we ask you to be prepared to the best of your ability; the less prepared you are, the better the chance your move will cost you more.)

Loading a truck is like putting a jigsaw puzzle together.  Imagine taking all of your household goods and putting it in your living room.  It requires that furniture, boxes, appliances and odds & ends all have to fit into that room.  That is how moving a home is done.  Often times we have to disassemble furniture, appliances and other household goods before we can load them on the truck and this also takes time.

Large, expensive, antique, assembled, Formica and lacquer pieces plus some large appliances are sometimes quite difficult to move.  If these items have to be moved in tight areas we cannot take responsibility for any property damage whatsoever. However, we do take care and precaution to avoid any damage at all.  Please try to remove and empty all loose items including glass or wood shelves from these items prior to moving as we cannot take responsibility for loss or damage of these items.

All boxes must be taped and have lids.  We prefer not to move open top boxes, plastic bags or loose items unless they are boxed (open top boxes and plastic bags are difficult to stack and take up more space on the truck than they should).
